The Cook position at Red Lobster is a critical role within the kitchen team responsible for preparing high-quality seafood dishes that meet company standards for taste, presentation, and safety. This role offers an hourly wage range from USD 16.50 to USD 25.00, complemented by weekly pay cycles and flexible scheduling options designed to meet the diverse needs of team members. As a Cook, you will engage in preparing, seasoning, and cooking food, ensuring portion control and adherence to recipes and quality guidelines. Your duties will include setting up and stocking prep and line stations, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and checking the freshness and quality of ingredients. Additionally, you will support the team during peak hours by assisting and substituting for other cooks and kitchen staff as needed.
Success in this role requires physical stamina to stand and move around the kitchen for long shifts, the ability to lift up to 60 pounds safely, and a strong attention to detail with multitasking capabilities.
