As a Cook at Arden Courts, you will play a vital role in preparing appetizing and nutritious meals tailored to the unique needs of our residents, many of whom require special attention due to dementia or other health concerns. This position supports the Executive Chef in managing daily food service operations, ensuring that every meal meets the highest standards of quality and safety. The role demands a blend of culinary skills, attention to detail, and a genuine compassion for the elderly population.   • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food preparation
  • Knowledge and experience in working with elderly
  • Previous dementia experience preferred
  • Food Service Sanitation certificate according to state or local requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Basic reading and writing skills
  • Ability to speak English in an understandable manner
