We are currently hiring for a part-time Cook position located at Bristol-Warren Regional Schools in Bristol, Rhode Island. This role requires a candidate with prior cooking experience and preferably food safety certification. The position is scheduled for Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm, offering a work-life balance with no nights, weekends, or holidays required. The hourly pay ranges between $18.30 and $18.80. This role involves preparing high-quality food according to standardized recipes and procedures while adhering to federal, state, and corporate regulations. The Cook will ensure the service of meals with correct portioning, appropriate temperature, and visual appeal, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. In this role, the Cook will also be responsible for kitchen maintenance, operating and caring for kitchen equipment, assisting with production planning, record keeping, and inventory management such as ordering and receiving supplies.
