We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Night Cook candidates to join our team at the SHU location at 5151 Park Ave, Fairfield, CT 06825. This role demands cooking excellence in a high-volume, fast-paced setting typically encountered in campus dining environments. The Night Cook will play a crucial role in preparing food items according to established recipes and ensuring food quality and service standards are consistently met or exceeded during night and weekend shifts. This position offers a wage of $20.00 per hour, highlighting competitive pay for skilled culinary professionals ready to make an impact. As a Night Cook with Chartwells Higher Ed, you will prepare high-quality menu items adhering strictly to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining food safety standards will be essential to our operation’s success. From portion control to temperature maintenance and attractive food presentation, your contributions will enhance the dining experience of our campus community. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, assisting with inventory and supply management, and reporting maintenance issues promptly. The role involves continuous adherence to food safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring that the kitchen environment remains in excellent condition for staff and patrons alike.
