The Line Cook position at Invited plays a crucial role in maintaining the high culinary standards expected by club members and guests. This role involves preparing a la carte dishes and catering for private events, ensuring consistent quality in food preparation and plate presentation. The Line Cook supports the kitchen team by assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with various kitchen tasks, working efficiently to meet the demands of the business. Beyond cooking duties, the Line Cook helps set up and stock food items and supplies, maintains cleanliness standards, and complies with rigorous food sanitation and storage procedures. This position requires a proactive approach to inventory management as well, including conducting inventory checks and completing food storage logs to support smooth kitchen operations. Ideal candidates for the Line Cook role have prior experience in a culinary setting, ideally within country clubs or restaurants, and possess working knowledge of various kitchen stations such as broiler, pantry, and saute. The position requires the ability to stand for extended periods and emphasizes a high school diploma or equivalent as the minimum education requirement.
