The role of Production Cook at The Miriam Hospital, part of Brown University Health, is essential in supporting the dietary and nutritional needs of patients, visitors, and staff. This position is a full-time role with day shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday, ensuring consistent and reliable food service operations. The pay range for this role is competitive, offering from $17.69 to $27.90 per hour, reflecting the importance of skilled culinary staff within the healthcare setting.
As a Production Cook, you will work under the direction of the production manager or chef to prepare all food items according to standardized recipes and production schedules. Responsibilities include preparing a wide variety of foods including soups, hot entrees, baked goods, cold items, and garde manger work.
