The full-time and part-time cook positions available at this location offer competitive wages ranging from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour. Working schedules include Monday through Friday with necessary weekend shifts, offering flexibility depending on the needs of the business. As a cook at TxWU Overhead, you’ll be responsible for preparing meals that not only meet federal, state, and corporate standards but also ensure customer satisfaction through quality and timely service. Your duties will include portion control, maintaining food safety by following HACCP standards, and ensuring the kitchen area remains clean and safe. You will be part of a team that upholds rigorous food safety procedures, including the use of protective gloves and proper handling of equipment, contributing to a safe workplace. The role also involves assisting in production planning, inventory management, and reporting which supports efficient kitchen operations. Regular communication and good working relationships with coworkers, management, and customers are vital to the role.
