The position available is a full-time Food Service Worker role at Memorial Hospital. This role is vital to the hospital's mission to deliver excellent care by ensuring the timely and effective preparation and delivery of nutritious foods to patients, employees, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with hospital standards, which ensures patient satisfaction and promotes a safe dining experience. This role includes important duties such as accurately determining food quantities for preparation, standardizing and developing new recipes, inspecting food stations for compliance with safety and sanitary guidelines, and assisting in training new employees.
Food Service Workers play a critical role in the overall functioning of the hospital’s food service department. You will be expected to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff and other hospital departments. The role requires a focus on quality and efficiency as well as compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies.                 - High school diploma or GED
 - One year related dietary experience
 - Food handlers card within 30 days of hire
 - Ability to comply with company attendance policy
 - Ability to perform work in shift and on-call situations
 - Ability to maintain all applicable required education
 - Ability to follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures
 - Ability to perform related duties as assigned
