We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team. This role is responsible for cooking and producing well-balanced, quality meals and providing excellent service with a focus on resident satisfaction. The position involves close interaction with residents and staff, requiring the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately at all times. The Cook will follow established recipes to prepare nutritional meals and will plate food with an attractive presentation that enhances the dining experience. Maintaining a safe, sanitary, clean, and organized cooking environment is a top priority, as is adhering to all relevant OSHA, Fire, and Health Department regulations. The role also includes assisting with inventory management, food preparation in line with community and health standards, and supporting kitchen cleanliness and organization. Candidates should be prepared to undertake physical tasks including walking, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
