River Crest Country Club is actively recruiting Full Time Bartenders to join their esteemed Food & Beverage Team. This position offers a competitive pay structure starting at $14 to $16 per hour for regular bar work, complemented by an automatic 15% service charge on all sales and a 2% service charge on all service well drinks. The Full Time Bartender position at River Crest involves much more than just pouring drinks. Bartenders manage bar inventory diligently, report inventory levels to the Beverage Manager, and ensure that bar stock is maintained at all times to meet demand. They play a proactive role in ensuring the safety and compliance of alcohol service, verifying legal drinking age, and monitoring guest consumption to prevent over-serving. The job consists of greeting guests warmly, maintaining clean and sanitary bar equipment, adhering to all setup and closing procedures, and using the POS system efficiently to process orders. • Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have and maintain a food handler’s permit and certification through the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission
• Must remain knowledgeable of all applicable laws governing the sale of alcoholic beverages
