The role of Cook within Brock & Company, Inc. is a full-time position with a work schedule from Monday through Friday, operating on a day schedule within the corporate dining sector. This role offers a competitive wage of $20.00 per hour alongside a robust benefits package, ensuring employees are supported both professionally and personally. As a Cook, you will be an essential team member responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of food items that meet the high standards set by the company and its clients. You will work under the guidance of a supervisor and Chef Manager, following detailed instructions on menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques, and food presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish. Your responsibilities will encompass preparing a wide range of culinary items including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering dishes. You will be involved in station setup prior to service, ensuring that all necessary equipment and ingredients are ready and organized. Handling deliveries with care, maintaining proper food storage through rotation and dating of products, and adhering to stringent cleanliness and food safety standards are vital components of this role. Providing excellent customer service with courtesy and professionalism is a daily expectation, along with complying with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations including specific protocols related to COVID-19 workplace safety.
