We are currently seeking a skilled Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This full-time position plays a critical role in preparing food items across various hotel outlets by following standardized recipes and adhering strictly to health, safety, and personal hygiene standards. The Cook will ensure timely and consistent food preparation, maintaining high quality and portion accuracy that meet the brand’s standards. Responsibilities include operating cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens, and preparing ingredients using various kitchen utensils and machinery. The Cook will also be responsible for setting up kitchen stations with pre-arranged mise en place to efficiently handle service demands during all hotel functions.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of cooking experience, preferably in a high-volume environment, with a solid understanding of diverse cooking techniques such as grilling, baking, boiling, and frying. A strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills are vital to ensure smooth operations and outstanding guest satisfaction. Knowledge of safe food handling practices, ability to maintain cleanliness in the food preparation areas, and experience with kitchen tools and equipment are essential for this role.
Beyond culinary skills, the Cook must be physically capable of working in demanding conditions, handling extreme temperatures from freezing to very hot environments, and managing the physical demands such as lifting up to 45 pounds and maneuvering equipment weighing up to 250 pounds. Excellent interpersonal skills and customer relations abilities are necessary to assist guests and coworkers effectively when required. The candidate must be self-driven, capable of working independently, and eager to adhere to Azul Hospitality’s high standards of grooming and attendance. Compliance with all company policies and regulations is mandatory, ensuring a professional and safe working environment for all personnel and guests.

                - High school or equivalent education
 - Minimum 2 years cooking experience, preferably high volume
 - Food handlers certification required
 - Ability to work in extreme temperatures such as freezers (-10°F) and kitchens (+110°F)
 - Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to four hours
 - Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
