This position is a Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) role assigned to the Club at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The club operates as part of the military installation, providing quality food and beverage services to military personnel, their families, and guests. Candidates should have experience and knowledge of cooking methods and procedures gained from previous work in grills, snack bars, restaurants, or similar food activities. The position requires the ability to follow both oral and written instructions accurately, maintain safe work practices, and perform basic arithmetic calculations as part of food preparation processes. Understanding how to operate and clean food service equipment is essential, as is knowledge of the characteristics of various foods. The employee must be skilled in seasoning food properly and determining when food items are adequately cooked, ensuring that customers receive high-quality meals.
