The current opening is for a part-time Cook position located at CSU San Bernardino Admin, 5500 University Parkway, San Bernardino, CA 92407. This role operates Monday through Thursday, with hours varying and detailed upon interview. The position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $20.00 and entails preparing food in compliance with all relevant federal, state, and corporate regulations and policies. As a Cook, you will be responsible for producing high-quality menu items following standardized recipes, ensuring food safety, proper portioning, and attractive presentation. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, adhering to HACCP standards, and fostering collaboration with fellow staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience. This position requires previous cooking experience and attention to detail, particularly in food quality and safety. The Cook will actively participate in inventory management, assist with ordering and receiving supplies, and report any necessary maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Working safely is paramount, and strict adherence to use of protective equipment such as cut gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes is required. • Previous cooking experience preferred
