The positions offer an hourly pay rate ranging from $18.00 to $18.50 per hour and are tailored to accommodate varying schedules with days and hours subject to change, providing flexibility to meet operational needs and individual preferences. The role of Cook at Compass Group's BuffaloState facility is integral to delivering high-quality food service in adherence to federal, state, and corporate standards. This position demands proficiency in preparing diverse menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring that each dish meets rigorous quality and safety criteria. The Cook will engage in various critical activities including meal preparation, portion control, maintaining food temperature, and adhering to HACCP standards. Beyond kitchen preparation, the role extends to maintaining a clean and safe work environment, managing inventory, operating and caring for kitchen equipment, and supporting administrative tasks such as record keeping and ordering supplies.
