The Cook position at the Mulva Cultural Center in De Pere, Wisconsin, offers a full-time schedule with variable days and hours, including evenings and weekends, which will be clarified during the interview process. Candidates must have previous cooking experience and be prepared to uphold the company’s rigorous standards of food preparation, safety, and cleanliness. The hourly pay range for this role is between $18.00 and $22.00. In this role, the Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules. The position requires meticulous attention to portion control, food presentation, and maintaining proper serving temperatures according to HACCP standards. Additionally, the Cook will handle kitchen operations including operating and maintaining equipment, ensuring cleanliness, and storing food safely. Collaboration with coworkers and supervisors is essential to maintain smooth service and adherence to safety protocols, including wearing proper protective gear and employing safe food handling techniques. This role supports production planning, ordering, and inventory management and reports maintenance needs promptly, ensuring a safe working environment.
