The Route Delivery Driver position at Pacific Seafood is a pivotal role within the Transportation team. This role supports maintaining operational efficiency, enhancing brand reputation, and aiding in driving sales. The delivery driver is tasked with ensuring that products are transported safely and efficiently according to scheduled routes, while providing customers with accurate product and pricing information. It is ideal for individuals who are customer service-oriented, safety-conscious, and detail-focused. The role demands an individual capable of managing product handling safely, verifying orders, completing necessary delivery paperwork accurately, and building positive customer relationships through professional and courteous interactions. Team members in this role must follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations as well as company safety guidelines. Physical demands for the role include standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds, walking, reaching, grasping, talking effectively, and maintaining strong hearing and vision capabilities. The working environment involves exposure to office and warehouse settings, moderate noise, as well as wet, cold, or humid conditions encountered during delivery routes. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a clean motor vehicle report for the last three years, and the ability to pass a road test. Familiarity with the local area and a proven track record of success in time-sensitive situations are preferred. The pay range for this full-time position is $22.45 to $25.48 per hour.
