We are currently seeking a Concierge Security Officer to join our team at our Elkhart, IN location. This full-time role operates on a set schedule from Monday through Friday during the first shift, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. With a competitive hourly wage of $18.25, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. The Concierge Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and other client environments. This role places a strong emphasis on customer service and interpersonal skills. Concierges act as the first point of contact for visitors, providing welcoming, identity verification, and guidance to ensure that everyone complies with security protocols while feeling comfortable and reassured. Officers are responsible for managing access control, conducting regular patrols to detect potential risks, inspecting security equipment, and responding swiftly to incidents. They must be prepared to provide first aid and coordinate with emergency responders as necessary. This position requires exceptional communication abilities, both in person and over the phone, along with the capacity to write detailed incident reports and effectively communicate security concerns. The ideal candidate is authorized to work in the U.S., possesses a high school diploma or GED, and can pass an extensive screening process. Previous experience in security, military, or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory. Proficiency in basic phone and computer skills is essential to successfully manage daily operations.
