The Concierge position within this distinguished senior living community plays a pivotal role as the initial point of contact for visitors, residents, and families. Reporting directly to the Business Office Manager, this hourly role involves greeting visitors, arranging property tours, managing multi-line telephone calls, and providing essential clerical support to the administrative team. The Concierge is fundamental to creating a positive first impression and ensuring seamless communication and service throughout the community. The individual in this role must balance administrative duties with a warm, friendly demeanor and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
As the face of the community, the Concierge supports the marketing and operational efforts by offering knowledgeable assistance about the property’s services, programs, and amenities. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficient computer use, and the ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, and staff. Physical stamina is also necessary, as the position involves standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting and carrying, as well as navigating stairs and other mobility tasks. The Concierge must maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring that all informational materials are current and the environment is welcoming.

                - High school diploma or equivalent preferred
 - Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and be able to follow written or oral instructions
 - Able to make independent decisions when the circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations
 - Able to deal professionally with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
 - Knowledgeable of administrative practices, processes, and guidelines
 - Experience using computer software (Microsoft)
 - Have patience, professionalism, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, and be willing to handle residents, staff and visitors, based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning
