Union Square Events is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Attendant to join their team at their Brooklyn location situated at 147 41st, 4th Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11232. This position is vital to the smooth and efficient operation of their event supply chain where the warehouse function plays a key role in supporting the production of world-class catered events. The Warehouse Attendant will be responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products used in various aspects of the catering and events business. This role is designed for entry-level candidates, and no prior experience is required, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics, warehousing, or hospitality support roles. The schedule for this position is full-time, including weekends and early mornings, which are integral to the demanding nature of the events industry. Pay for this role ranges from $18.00 to $24.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. The Warehouse Attendant’s duties include reading production schedules and orders to understand the materials required, moving and organizing stock on racks, shelves, or refrigerated rooms according to standardized sequences such as size and product code, and preparing orders for shipping or assembly. Utilizing computer systems to maintain inventory records and compile worksheets is also a key part of the role. The position demands attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to handle materials carefully following all company policies and safety procedures including the use of protective gloves and slip-resistant footwear.
