Levy is currently hiring for the position of Barback with a pay rate of $17.38 per hour. This role is an essential part of the bar operations team, supporting bartenders and ensuring the smooth running of bar services throughout the shift. The Barback is responsible for receiving all liquor, beer, and wine deliveries from the storeroom and replenishing the bar as needed. They also assist with cleaning duties and support beverage service by preparing and serving drinks when necessary. This is a dynamic role that requires attention to detail and effective teamwork to maintain an efficient and welcoming bar environment.
The role involves a variety of responsibilities including retrieving food and beverage items from kitchen and storerooms, setting up liquor bottles on the bar, verifying beer taps function properly, and keeping bar snacks and supplies adequately stocked. Barbacks assist in opening and closing side work, bus tables, and ensure cleanliness and tidiness of bar areas by cleaning tables, walls, refrigerators, floors, and removing rubbish regularly. They are expected to perform other related duties as assigned by management.
