This on-call position features a base pay of $6.875 per hour plus tips, averaging between $22 and $24 per hour. Banquet Servers at Hollywood Casino & Hotel play a critical role in ensuring that events run smoothly from set-up to clean-up. Responsibilities include setting buffet lines and tables with appropriate décor and supplies, serving plated meals and beverages, responding promptly to guest needs, and maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the function areas. Candidates for this role must bring experience in banquet or restaurant service along with knowledge of proper sanitation practices and excellent verbal communication skills. Physical mobility and the ability to handle tasks requiring bending, lifting up to 30 lbs, and other physical activities are essential. The ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and respond quickly to visual and auditory cues is required. Certification in alcohol awareness (TiPS) must be obtained, emphasizing the company's dedication to responsible service.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- previous banquet and/or restaurant service experience
- knowledge of proper restaurant sanitation procedures
- outgoing personality with exceptional work habits
- must have open availability to work holiday season (December 1st through December 23rd)
- must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills
- basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, etc
- ability to respond to visual and aural cues
- ability to maintain a positive attitude
- ability to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
- able to work independently with little or no direct supervision
- able to multi-task efficiently
- must become TiPS (alcohol awareness) certified
- physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 30 lbs, and the ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas
