The hourly wage ranges from $13.50 to $16.80 depending on the candidate’s experience level. As a Hy-Vee Barista, you will engage directly with customers, learn and use their names to build rapport, assist with any needs they have in the department, and collaborate with co-workers to ensure smooth operations. You will be accountable for maintaining adequate product levels, managing registers, performing light cleaning duties, and adhering to company policies related to professional appearance and conduct. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service. • Must be at least 18 years old
• Available to work overnight shifts
• Must be able to perform medium physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Good vision with or without correction including color vision and depth perception
• Capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, finger dexterity, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must adhere to company policies and work schedule
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment with multiple priorities
