The role of Cocktail Waitress at Ethos Hospitality Group is a critical position within the front-of-the-house team, designed to create memorable dining experiences for every guest. This position is non-exempt and suitable for full-time, part-time, or seasonal employment. As a Cocktail Waitress, you will be the face of hospitality, setting the tone with a warm and welcoming smile while delivering world-class table service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for understanding each guest's unique preferences and creating moments that exceed expectations, fostering lasting memories. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized section before, during, and after each shift, serving beer, wine, champagne, and spirits knowledgeably, and promptly delivering food and beverages with professionalism. You will expertly take and manage orders using the POS system, ensuring accuracy from start to finish. Building and nurturing relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits and specialized service is a vital part of this role, as is close collaboration with Server Assistants and management for quality and cleanliness standards. Additionally, adherence to legal requirements, such as verifying photo identification to confirm legal drinking age, is mandatory. Physical endurance is essential in this role, requiring the ability to stand and move quickly for up to six hours, demonstrate balance, bend, kneel, and lift items up to 30 pounds. The role demands responsiveness in emergencies to ensure a safe environment for both guests and coworkers. Pay ranges from $20 to $25 per hour, reflecting the skill and dedication required for this position.
