This role within Live Nation offers a unique opportunity to be directly engaged with the live entertainment environment, supporting the delivery of excellent guest service during concerts and events. The position requires anticipating and responding to guests' needs, selling menu items suggestively, and maintaining efficient communication with the bar via point of sales systems. Responsibilities include managing drink orders, circulating through work areas to control atmosphere, removing used glasses and dishes, cleaning spills, and ensuring the area meets safety and sanitation standards. Moreover, the role involves responsible alcohol service, verifying identification for guests who appear under 30, refusing service to intoxicated individuals courteously, and maintaining adherence to company policies for comp and void checks. Teamwork is highly encouraged, providing assistance to other servers and staff as needed.
This job demands flexibility in working hours, including late shifts, and a flexible schedule to accommodate the event-based nature of the industry. Candidates must have at least three years of experience working positively with people, with knowledge of cocktail tray service, food service basics, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes, garnishes, and point of sales systems. Physical demands include standing for extended periods and lifting or moving up to 25 pounds with proper techniques.
