The Reservations & Customer Care Co-Op position at Delta Air Lines offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to gain real-world experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This co-op is a back-office role based in the General Offices in Atlanta where you will support the Customer Engagement Centers. The Reservations department functions as a critical touchpoint for customers before, during, and after their travel, providing essential behind-the-scenes support that enhances both customer and agent experiences. As a Reservations Co-Op, you will serve as an internal consultant, leading impactful semester-long projects aligned with divisional strategies and business goals. This role will involve collaborating cross-functionally to identify process improvements and recommending solutions that benefit customers and internal teams alike. Key responsibilities include resolving product and project-related issues, conducting extensive data analysis, and identifying opportunities for enhancing existing processes. These projects have varying degrees of complexity and often contain sensitive information with moderate financial risk, offering a valuable professional challenge. Throughout your co-op term, you will also gain exposure to data analytics, process improvement, product management, and statistical modeling. The position offers mentorship, networking opportunities, and the chance to present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, helping build strong communication and presentation skills. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. This is a structured internship opportunity designed to last 16 consecutive weeks, requiring participants to be available on-site at Delta's Corporate Headquarters multiple times per week. Candidates must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and be fully available without remote or on-campus classes during the program. You will be expected to commit to three rotations prior to completing your undergraduate degree and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The role also requires a professional demeanor, adaptability, and willingness to travel as needed.
