The role of Clinical Concierge - Non-Certified Technician (NCT) with Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification on a PRN (as needed) basis is integral to the delivery of exemplary urgent care services. The Clinical Concierge is tasked with guiding patients and their guests efficiently through their urgent care visit, ensuring that customer satisfaction and clinical proficiency are both maintained at the highest level. Working under the supervision of the Site Manager and in close collaboration with healthcare providers and clinical teams, the Concierge performs a variety of clinical and administrative duties that support smooth clinic operations.
Key responsibilities include patient registration and verification, collecting payments, performing vital sign measurements, and documenting medical histories using the EPIC electronic health record system. The role demands a solid foundation in clinical procedures such as laboratory testing, venipuncture, medication administration including oral and intramuscular injections, and assistance with minor surgical procedures and orthopedic applications. The Concierge further performs diagnostic x-rays within the licensed scope of practice, adhering to safety protocols and ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis. A vital aspect of the role is the ability to handle emergent patient situations by notifying providers immediately and delivering life-saving interventions such as BLS and oxygen administration as needed.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of approved NCT and medical assistant or vocational nursing programs, and meet professional licensure requirements as set forth by the Texas Medical Board. Experience in healthcare, particularly in patient care roles and radiology, is highly preferred. The position requires a high level of professionalism, effective communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a customer service mindset to build trust and rapport with patients and their families. The PRN status demands candidates be flexible to work a minimum of two shifts per month, including one major holiday annually, across multiple urgent care locations.
Working at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care means joining a team committed to delivering compassionate, efficient, and expert care to our community. Employees are supported through comprehensive training opportunities, including the ability to earn contact hours for medical assistant certification renewal, fostering continuous professional development. Our environment embraces teamwork, innovation, and a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes. If you are passionate about healthcare and eager to contribute to a trusted and growing urgent care network, the Clinical Concierge position offers a rewarding career path with competitive compensation and meaningful work making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
