The Clinical Concierge role at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care in Plano is designed for a compassionate, detail-oriented individual passionate about enhancing patient experiences and facilitating smooth clinical operations. This full-time position involves working 3-12 hour shifts per week, typically from 7:45 AM to 8:15 PM, floating across multiple urgent care locations as needed. The Clinical Concierge acts as a vital liaison between patients, secondary guests, healthcare providers, and the urgent care team, managing critical clinical tasks with professionalism and efficiency. Responsibilities range from patient registration and documentation to assisting with medical procedures, performing diagnostic x-rays within scope, collecting vital signs, and ensuring the seamless flow of urgent care visits. This role requires expertise in patient interaction, clinical functions such as venipuncture, medication administration (oral and intramuscular), x-ray imaging, and emergency protocols including basic life support measures. The Clinical Concierge is expected to maintain competency across various clinical areas, support providers during examinations and treatments, and contribute to a positive patient experience by demonstrating empathy, discretion, and strong communication skills. - H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Completion of approved NCT training program
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program or vocational nurse program
- 6 months previous healthcare facility clinical experience as LVN, MA, CNA, or other patient care
- 6 months previous x-ray experience or completion of internal THR NCT training
- NCT registered by Texas Medical Board upon hire
- LVN license if applicable
- Other certified or registered medical assistant if applicable
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- THR Urine Drug Collector training within 30 days of hire
- Strong customer service attitude
- Ability to perform BLS and emergency procedures
- Must maintain competency in all assigned clinical tasks
