Additionally, the Clinical Concierge assists in obtaining insurance authorizations and verifies insurance coverage before patient appointments to facilitate a seamless check-in process. The candidate will work closely with both the clinical staff and physician's team to ensure optimal communication and to uphold the quality of patient care. The individual must be able to operate proficiently within a fast-paced medical office environment while maintaining a professional demeanor. Responsibilities include scheduling injections and MRI appointments, managing patient check-outs, and maintaining adherence to clinic policies and procedures. This role requires proficiency with computer systems and practice management software, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and exceptional customer service abilities. Physical demands for this role include the ability to see at various distances and ranges, talk and hear clearly, and perform office activities commonly required in a direct patient care setting. The Clinical Concierge will be expected to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms, occasionally lift objects weighing over 25 pounds, and travel to different clinic locations if required. Although no specific licenses are required, a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, and preference is given to candidates with 1-2 years of medical office experience.
