We are currently seeking detail-oriented 1099 independent contractors to join our dedicated cleaning team. In this role, you will be entrusted with maintaining immaculate conditions in multiple apartments scattered throughout the Chicago metro area. The position involves traveling to different job sites daily, requiring a reliable vehicle and a proactive approach to managing your schedule and workload. The role is uniquely structured to support independent contractors, which emphasizes personal responsibility and autonomy in completing your tasks while adhering to the company’s standards. The work involves cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and balconies, ensuring each area receives thorough attention according to our established cleaning procedures and guidelines. In addition to routine cleaning, you will be expected to operate specialized cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam machines, and ozone machines designed for tackling heavy stains and upholstery cleaning. Safety is paramount, so adherence to health and safety regulations is essential, especially when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Part of your duties will include waste disposal, reporting maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards, securing the apartments during and after cleaning, and accurately documenting your work through photographs and digital forms. This detailed documentation supports our commitment to accountability and quality assurance. Candidates will undergo a paid on-the-job trial shift to demonstrate their skills and suitability for the role. The pay ranges from $156 to $182 per day based on performance and task complexity.
