As a non-leadership role reporting to the Food & Beverage Director, Banquet Manager, or Restaurant Manager, Server 1 works collaboratively with teammates to ensure efficient service, handle guest inquiries with professionalism, and manage daily side work to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining areas. The position requires attentiveness to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond promptly to any member or guest concerns using effective service recovery techniques. Candidates for Server 1 should have a foundation in food and beverage service, preferably supported by formal training such as Invited’s Food & Beverage Service Training program. Certifications like Food Handler and Alcohol Server, as required by local regulations, are important for compliance and guest safety. The role demands physical stamina due to the nature of the work, which includes standing for extended periods, carrying loads up to 100 pounds, and performing tasks that require bending, twisting, and reaching.
