The Service Leader role at Chipotle is integral to maintaining exceptional customer service standards and food safety protocols in the restaurant environment. This position requires an enthusiastic individual committed to upholding Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation, and supporting a team-oriented atmosphere. Service Leaders operate on the restaurant floor, actively engaging in daily operations while ensuring the crew performs at their best. This position involves monitoring food safety standards such as proper hand washing, glove use, temperature controls, and adherence to the Daily Food Safety Checklist. Service Leaders also help resolve food quality and customer service issues, manage crew scheduling, breaks and shift changes, and assist in training new and existing team members. In addition to hands-on leadership, Service Leaders support crew performance reviews and foster the development of future leaders by providing coaching and cross-training. Administrative duties such as handling banking, managing cash policies, overseeing office supplies, and maintaining equipment functionality are also part of the responsibilities. The Service Leader is expected to keep the restaurant line clean, organized, and efficient. This role offers a competitive base salary range of $18.00 to $20.03 per hour, supplemented by digital tips and an extensive benefits package including tuition assistance, free food, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, and opportunities for career advancement.
