The chef position at Ascension St. Vincent's Medical Riverside in Jacksonville, Florida, offers a full-time opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to contribute to a vibrant foodservice operation within a healthcare setting. This role operates Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with compensation ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. The chef is responsible for overseeing kitchen activities, ensuring food quality and safety standards are met while leading a team of cooks and kitchen associates. This position requires previous chef experience and involves tasks such as coordinating meal preparation, supervising staff, managing inventory, and participating in recipe and menu development.
