This full-time position offers competitive wages starting up to $19.85 per hour, inclusive of base pay and Hero Pay—a special premium of $0.85 per hour. In addition to the attractive wage package, employees enjoy yearly wage increases reflecting their continued commitment and experience. The role is designed for professionals passionate about preparing high-quality and nourishing meals that meet strict dietary and sanitary guidelines.
As a Chef at WellBridge, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality food service and culinary experience for all guests. Working closely with the Executive Chef, you will participate in menu planning and preparation, ensuring each dish adheres to portion control and sanitation standards. Your responsibilities will include coordinating food production to align precisely with meal service times, contributing to tray line setup, assisting in plating, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times.
This position requires someone with at least two years of food service experience—preferably in a supervisory role within hospitals, nursing care, or other medical-related facilities. A strong knowledge of food safety procedures and certifications, including ServSafe, is mandatory to uphold the strict food handling standards necessary for resident safety and satisfaction. Your excellent customer service skills and dedication to fostering a positive, healthy environment will enhance the overall experience of residents, their families, and visitors.

The company culture emphasizes attentive and supportive leadership that values teamwork and employee wellbeing.
Shift flexibility is a priority for WellBridge. While offering full-time employment, the facility needs chefs primarily for afternoon shifts that include rotating weekends and holidays, but notably without late-night hours. This schedule is designed to accommodate various personal commitments while supporting the operational needs of the center.
Joining WellBridge’s EPIC team means you will contribute every day to enriching lives through your culinary expertise. You will prepare meals according to health and safety regulations, assist in food production coordination, manage tray line and plate assembly, support daily kitchen cleaning routines, and promote hospitality and excellent customer service.
