The Chef de Cuisine role at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) represents a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a landmark destination restaurant that exemplifies California cuisine through a vibrant and artful dining experience. This high-volume fine dining establishment delivers refined, ingredient-driven meals with an emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The Chef de Cuisine will lead the back-of-house operations, overseeing a large and skilled culinary team with precision, creativity, and accountability to ensure that every dish meets the highest standards in taste, presentation, and timing. Collaborating closely with the Executive Chef, this role involves executing seasonal, market-driven menus that reflect the culinary vision of the restaurant and enhance the cultural atmosphere of LACMA. 
Key responsibilities include managing purchasing, inventory control, scheduling, and labor costs to align with financial goals while maintaining exceptional service standards. The Chef de Cuisine must ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and foster seamless communication and coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house leadership teams to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Moreover, the position supports high-profile events, chef collaborations, and VIP experiences hosted within the museum, requiring adaptability and a passion for creating memorable, culturally rich culinary moments. With a salary range of $110,000 to $120,000 and a bonus plan, this position offers a competitive compensation package.                 - Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
 - Minimum 7 years of culinary leadership experience in high-volume fine dining or luxury hotel settings
