We are currently seeking a full-time Check-In Receptionist to join our team, split between our Monroe and Winder locations. The schedule consists of Monday through Thursday in Monroe and Friday in Winder, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This role is fundamental to the patient experience at UCBC, serving as the initial point of contact for patients and playing a key part in ensuring efficient clinic operations. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude and a warm, welcoming presence, recognizing the importance of first impressions and patient interaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for greeting and checking in patients, collecting insurance information and copays, documenting payments accurately within our electronic medical records system (EMR), and managing patient forms. This position requires an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Experience in a medical office setting is preferred, and prior office experience is essential. Above all, the successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills and a personable demeanor that helps put patients at ease during what may be difficult visits.
