With a commitment to creativity, innovation, and collaboration, LEO Events has cultivated a diverse and talented team of over 100 full-time employees spread across three main offices located in Memphis, Nashville, and Chattanooga, Tennessee. The company partners with some of the biggest brands in business to create and execute critical messaging on significant occasions, demonstrating a consistent track record of success and long-standing client relationships. LEO Events also places a strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion, celebrating and fostering these values within the workplace and across all partnerships, contributing positively to the community and the industry at large.
LEO Events is seeking highly motivated and driven students for a part-time Internship opportunity during the summer of 2026. This internship runs from June 1 through July 31 and offers up to 24 hours per week at a competitive compensation of $20 per hour. Ideal candidates are junior or senior university students currently enrolled in, or recent graduates of, a four-year program focusing on hospitality management, communications, public relations, broadcast media, entertainment, film & video, graphic design, or related fields. The role promises hands-on experience in a fast-paced, exciting, and highly collaborative environment, where interns will gain exposure to various facets of event production and management.
Interns are assigned dual roles tailored to their interests, competencies, and skill sets. Placements span multiple departments including production, media, event operations, graphic design, and meeting services. Each role is designed to build essential professional skills through active participation in different phases of event planning and execution. All internship activities require onsite presence in one of LEO’s three offices as remote work is not available, facilitating close mentorship and direct collaboration with experienced professionals. Interns also have the opportunity to travel and participate in live programs, gaining valuable practical experience in real-world event settings.
The internship begins with a mandatory onboarding and orientation session held in Nashville in late May, fully sponsored by LEO Events to ensure interns are well-prepared and integrated into the team. Throughout the internship, candidates will develop capabilities such as project coordination, media production, creative content development, logistical support, graphic design, and client communications, depending on their assignment focus. This role offers an immersive experience in event production, enhancing organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills to prepare interns for future careers in the hospitality and event management industries.
