The role of Catering Server/Attendant at Oak View Group is essential in delivering outstanding service during events held within these venues. This position demands a personable, attentive individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced, constantly evolving event environment. The Catering Server/Attendant is responsible for serving guests in venue dining areas, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience. An emphasis is placed on excellent attendance and the ability to work scheduled events as business needs arise. The hourly pay rate for this position is $17.00 with eligibility for tips.
This role requires the employee to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of banquet event orders and confidently execute tasks related to food and beverage service, including the responsible handling and serving of alcoholic beverages while adhering to legal age requirements. The Catering Server/Attendant must be able to manage multiple meals simultaneously by carrying up to ten meals on a tray, attentively observe guests to address additional needs, replenish buffet lines, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout service areas.
Individuals in this role will also be tasked with setting up banquet functions, including arranging linens, dishware, glassware, and silverware, as well as ensuring that all service elements such as salt, pepper, sugar, cream, and napkins are adequately replenished.  - One year fine dining and/or banquet experience
 - Valid food handling certificate if required by state or federal regulations
 - Alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
 - Ability to speak, read and write in English
 - Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
 - Excellent attendance and reliability
 - Ability to carry up to ten meals on a tray
 - Basic math skills related to cash handling
