The Catering Operations Manager position is a full-time role based on the Homewood campus, working five days a week with some night and weekend commitments. The salary range for this position is $48,000 to $84,100 annually, commensurate with experience. Reporting directly to the Catering Director, this role requires collaboration with multiple departments, including Marketing and Student Affairs, to elevate the catering brand and ensure seamless event execution.
The manager will oversee all aspects of catering operations with a focus on compliance with food hygiene regulations, staff training, and the delivery of a consistent, high-quality guest experience. They will be responsible for developing operational procedures, managing product handling and inventory, and ensuring the financial success of the catering services. This role demands a strategic leader who can multitask effectively and foster strong relationships with students, staff, and campus partners.
Additionally, the Catering Operations Manager is charged with promoting innovative catering presentations and rebranding strategies that align with university values and customer expectations. Operational excellence will be supported by ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met and maintaining rigorous control over catering inventory and costs.                 - Associate's degree or culinary degree equivalent
 - three years of food service management experience with at least one year in a supervisory role
 - ServSafe and Allertrain certification or obtain within three months of employment
 - ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
