As a full-time Casino/Hotel Maintenance Technician at River City Casino & Hotel, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of the property. The position offers a starting wage of $20.00 per hour and features shifts from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm or 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.
In this role, you will perform general maintenance and repairs within multiple areas such as plumbing, kitchen and refrigeration equipment, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical devices. Using work orders received via HotSOS, you’ll efficiently address assigned maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and safe operations throughout the facilities. Communication is key — you will be responsible for notifying supervisors regarding significant repair needs or additions to critical systems like lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing, and equipment. This position requires a blend of technical skill, practical experience, and the ability to interpret electrical wiring diagrams and blueprints. You will also be expected to apply knowledge of building management systems and methods for preventative maintenance to preserve the quality and function of the infrastructure.
