Ziggy's Magic Pizza Shop, located in Downtown Phoenix, is currently seeking an experienced Cashier/Counter Clerk to join their vibrant team. This position requires applicants to have at least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably with some background in pizza service. Familiarity with the Toast POS system is highly desirable. The role exists within an open kitchen environment that serves as the entrance to a speakeasy bar, necessitating a guest-focused approach along with a positive and engaging attitude. Candidates must possess a sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain organized and calm under pressure. As a Cashier/Counter Clerk, you will be the key point of contact for customers, providing them with an excellent and memorable pizza experience. You will greet guests, assist them in placing orders, process various payment methods accurately, and respond to guest inquiries regarding the menu, event schedule, and store policies. Handling phone orders, checking IDs for age-restricted beverage purchases, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring cash register accuracy at the beginning and end of each shift are crucial aspects of this role.
