About the Role:
Williams-Sonoma is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join their dynamic retail team. The Sales Associate role is pivotal in sustaining an energetic and welcoming store atmosphere for both customers and teammates. Candidates will engage directly with clients at the cash wrap, delivering personalized service that leaves a lasting impression. Responsibilities include executing accurate and efficient register and point-of-sale (POS) transactions such as sales, returns, and exchanges, ensuring sales pricing accuracy, and managing all aspects of customer expectations with clear product information and fulfillment details.
The ideal Sales Associate is passionate about exceeding sales goals, thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, and excels at building lasting customer relationships through attentive engagement and personalized recommendations. This role also demands teamwork, independent task management, and the ability to stay mobile on the sales floor. An important aspect of the position is promoting current store promotions, events, and new product launches, including the Williams-Sonoma Credit Card program, to enhance the customer experience.

This full-time Sales Associate role requires availability to meet business needs, including weekend coverage. Part-time flexible associates must be available for at least two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts weekly. Physical stamina is necessary for mobility on the sales floor and the ability to safely lift and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds using appropriate techniques and equipment.

- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Full-time associates expected to have open availability to meet business needs
- Part-time flex associates must have availability for at least two weekend shifts and two weekdays weekly (weekend shifts cannot fall on the same day)
