At HeartFields at Cary, one of TerraBella’s respected communities, there is an opportunity for a dedicated Cook to join the team. This position is a first shift role with working hours from 6am to 2pm, providing consistent daytime schedules to promote a healthy work-life balance. The Cook role at TerraBella is pivotal in ensuring that residents receive delicious, nutritious, and safely prepared meals tailored to their specific dietary requirements and preferences. This role goes beyond mere meal preparation—it involves adhering to strict food safety standards, portion control, and quality assurance to maintain the high standards TerraBella is known for.
The prospective Cook will be actively engaged in preparing both hot and cold menu items, which includes working on various kitchen stations such as the grill, sauté station, salad bar, and service line. Each meal must be prepared following standardized recipes and menu cycles that ensure consistency and quality across the dining experience. Additionally, the Cook is responsible for tasting and assessing the food to ensure that every dish served meets quality and palatability standards before reaching residents.
