The Caregiver position at The Kensington is a rewarding opportunity for compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. Caregivers play a pivotal role in monitoring and supporting residents' general well-being, assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, and encouraging independence through tailored assistance. This role demands interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork. Shifts include full-time schedules with evenings and overnight hours from Sunday through Thursday and Friday through Monday, as well as part-time weekend positions. The pay range is competitive at $20 to $21 per hour, with a $500 hiring bonus for eligible candidates. Successful caregivers at The Kensington assist with resident needs from daily living activities to social engagement, maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism, and follow all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Working with the care team and other departments, caregivers also help ensure that resident service plans are up-to-date and effective. In addition, caregivers help with community events, answer phones, and support marketing efforts when necessary. The role requires flexibility, as well as certification in first aid, CPR, and relevant state training or nursing assistant certification.   • High school education or GED equivalent preferred
  • Nursing assistant course recommended
  • First aid certification and CPR if required
