The National Western Center (NWC) is a visionary 250-acre campus located in Denver, Colorado, dedicated to being the global destination for food and agricultural discovery. This dynamic facility is not only the new home of the National Western Stock Show but also serves as the campus for Colorado State University's Spur program, making it a vibrant hub that combines education, entertainment, and innovation. Unlike typical venues, the NWC campus is designed to be lively and active year-round, featuring a blend of indoor and outdoor event spaces, including the notable Stockyards Event Center. This space boasts two arenas, expansive parking, and picturesque views of the Rocky Mountains and the Denver skyline. Its outdoor plaza, connected to 20 acres of hardscaped yards, hosts a variety of activities ranging from outdoor concerts and festivals to large equipment trade shows, sporting events, and even drive-in movies. The campus is strategically situated just two miles from downtown Denver, close to the RiNo Art District, and easily accessible via Interstate 70 and Denver International Airport. Established through partnerships, the National Western Center Authority, a nonprofit organization, oversees the operation, maintenance, programming, and promotion of the campus, ensuring it fulfills its mission and supports local community investment initiatives.
