This role is crucial in producing and decorating cakes and similar products from start to finish efficiently and with superior quality. The ideal candidate will have proven cake and pastry decorating experience, possess creativity, and exhibit attention to detail to meet both display and special order requirements. The cake decorator's abilities directly influence the bakery's reputation and success by creating a welcoming and exciting atmosphere that instills confidence in our guests. Responsibilities will include managing bakery inventory, ensuring cleanliness and safety, complying with company policies, and fostering teamwork and communication among staff members. The position also involves practical bakery functions such as preparing, frying, and finishing bakery items, maintaining decorating talents, and uniquely handling larger tier cake orders from the initial order to final delivery. • Food handler's permit
• previous baking and cake decorating experience
• 18 years or older
• ability to use equipment such as oven, slicer, fryer, wrapping machine, bread molding machine, scales, box cutter, garbage compactor, cardboard baler
• physical ability to walk, sit, stand, twist, bend, and use hands repetitively
• ability to lift 30+ pounds
• ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals
