We are currently seeking enthusiastic Cafe Team Members to join the energetic and efficient team at our cafes. The Cafe Team Member role is vital in helping maintain the lively, dynamic ambiance that Grand Central Bakery’s cafes are known for. Team members are passionate about preparing and serving delicious food and beverages and take pride in contributing to a positive customer experience. This part-time position, offering 24 or fewer hours per week, includes flexible shifts typically scheduled Thursday through Sunday between 6:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The role requires working various shifts, including retail open, mid-shift, and retail close. Cafe Team Members are expected to be versatile and efficient, regularly working both the sandwich bar and barista station to deliver exceptional service. This position pays $16.96 per hour plus tips, which average between $7.00 and $9.00 per hour, reflecting the rewarding environment and the supportive community the bakery has cultivated. Food safety is paramount; new hires must have or obtain a valid food handler's card by their first day.
