The Caffè Macs team at Apple plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals that fuel the daily operations of this cutting-edge technology giant. As a Line Cook for Apple, you will be an essential member of the culinary team responsible for the preparation and cooking of various food items across multiple kitchen stations, including the pantry, fry, and other designated areas. This role requires a keen attention to detail, adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will be tasked with setting up your food station according to established guidelines, following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications to ensure every plate meets Apple’s exceptional standards.
The position reports to the Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager, and you will receive specific instructions each day regarding opening, closing, and service duties. In addition to cooking, you will be responsible for the plating and garnishing of cooked items, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and restocking food and supplies as needed throughout your shift. You will assist in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas, supporting a safe and healthy working environment.
This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong foundational knowledge of cooking techniques, knife handling, and kitchen equipment. You will also need to be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high safety and organizational standards. The Line Cook position at Apple offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $27.75 to $37.08, with most new hires starting at $27.75. - 1.5 years of corporate kitchen line cook experience required
- ability to be exposed to cold, heat and water
