This role focuses on the position of ATP/CTP Instructor Pilots, specifically for CRJ Instructor Pilots at the Minneapolis training center of CAE. The position is part-time, offering a flexible schedule that allows candidates to select 10 days per month to work, making it ideal for pilots seeking a balanced career without extensive travel or missing important family and holiday events. This role is on-call and fixed term, emphasizing availability and adaptability within a structured work roster. Pilots will also manage comprehensive training records, recommend remedial training when necessary, and maintain proficiency by keeping instructional qualifications up to date. A key element of the role is to promote crew resource management (CRM) and threat and error management (TEM) principles to enhance safety and efficiency during flight training. Instructors are expected to act as subject matter experts, contributing to curriculum and courseware development as needed while maintaining high-quality standards and excellent customer orientation.
