The role of a Busser/Runner at Red Lobster is essential to maintaining the high standards of service and guest satisfaction the company is known for. As a Busser/Runner, your primary responsibility will be to welcome guests warmly and ensure their dining area is properly set up and maintained throughout their visit. This involves preparing the station for your shift by arranging silverware, condiments, and drink stations to ensure smooth service flow. Key duties include refilling drinks, pre-bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness, running hot food to guests promptly, and supporting servers as needed. Adhering to strict food safety and cleanliness standards is vital in this role to provide guests with a safe and pleasant dining experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for clearing dishes, resetting tables, cleaning seats and floors, and communicating effectively with your team to streamline operations and ensure tables are ready for incoming guests. The physical demands of the job require the ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift up to 30 pounds safely, stand for extended periods, and move efficiently throughout the restaurant.
